Some things change a person. Some things go so deep that you can see pain in person's movements. Some things change a person so much that you need a jacket in the middle of a summer just to hide goosebumps.
Some things change a person and it electrifies the air as the person enters the room.
They are usually quiet and look composed.
Things like war. Hunger. Death. Survival. A bad partner.
Loss of fear.
Indifference is the ultimate freedom in the eyes of others and the deepest solitary for the indifferent. That is why freedom is the ultimate illusion. It's a path. Unachievable goal.
There is no escape from the walls we build ourselves.
